1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device (computer, phone, or tablet) when you visit it. They are widely used to make websites work correctly, to remember your preferences, and to give site owners information about how their site is being used.
In addition to cookies, we may use similar technologies such as localStorage — a browser storage mechanism that persists data locally on your device without sending it to a server with each request. This policy covers both.
2. Cookies We Use
Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for PropAI to function. Without them, you cannot log in or use authenticated features. They cannot be disabled.

These cookies are set by Supabase Auth and are required for secure login. They are scoped to your session and expire when you log out or your session ends.
Functional Storage
We store your theme preference (e.g. light or dark mode) in your browser's localStorage. This data is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to our servers. It is used solely to remember your display preference between visits.
Analytics Cookies
We currently use no analytics cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or any similar third-party analytics service at this time. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy and provide notice before doing so.
Advertising Cookies
We use no advertising cookies. We do not track you for advertising purposes, build ad profiles, or share data with ad networks. PropAI does not display third-party advertisements.
3. Third-Party Cookies
When you initiate a payment or interact with Stripe's checkout interface, Stripe may set its own cookies on your device. These cookies are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy and are used by Stripe for fraud prevention, payment security, and compliance purposes. We do not control these cookies.
No other third-party services currently set cookies when you use PropAI.
4. How to Control Cookies
You can control and manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- View which cookies are set and delete individual cookies
- Block cookies from specific sites or all third-party cookies
- Clear all cookies when you close your browser
- Set preferences to be notified when cookies are set

5. Impact of Disabling Cookies
Important: Disabling or deleting the Supabase authentication cookies (sb-access-token and sb-refresh-token) will immediately log you out of PropAI and prevent you from staying logged in. Core features of the platform require an active authenticated session and will not function without these cookies.
Clearing localStorage will reset your theme preference, but will not otherwise affect your ability to use PropAI.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example when we add new features or integrate new services. We will post changes on this page and update the effective date. Where changes are material, we will provide additional notice (e.g. via email or an in-app banner).
